Yvonne Waft

I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 25 years in the Mental Health field. I qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2006 . I specialised in working with adults with trauma related difficulties for many years in the NHS before moving into Private Practice, where I have expanded into delivering clinical supervision and facilitating on training in EMDR. I wrote a self-help book on Coping with Trauma to help people who cannot access therapy for whatever reason. I speak and write regularly on the topic of trauma and mental health. I have been on numerous podcasts and have spoken at conferences on this topic. I am also a full time wheelchair user and have a mini-specialty in disability. Having studied disability issues within my Psychology Degrees both at Undergraduate and Doctoral level, this is a topic I am passionate and knowledgeable about alongside my main speciality of trauma.
