I'm a Clinical Psychologist supporting children, young people and their families, specialising in understanding and managing anxiety. I have 20 years of experience working in this area across NHS, CAMHS, social care and private practice.
I'm also a mum of two boys, and it was this combination of clinical experience and parenting that led me to start building Beeyu. I couldn't find digital tools out there that were good enough for my own children, clinician designed, safe and evidence informed rather than generic or gamified. Over the last 15 months I have been building Beeyu, a digital platform for families, to be that better alternative. It's been quite the learning curve.
Over the last year my social media following has grown to over 180,000 across TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, alongside a 6,000 person waitlist for the Beeyu. I have also joined several entrepreneur networks and am currently taking part in an accelerator for female founders.
