I’m Dr. Rosie Gilderthorp a Clinical Psychologist, business coach, military spouse and mum to three neurodivergent children. I help two groups that have a lot in common: parents navigating perinatal mental health challenges or parenting children with additional needs, and psychologists who want to build independent practices that allow them to live their values.
I believe that when we struggle, it is rarely a personal failure. Usually, we are responding in the best way we know how to failing systems, healthcare, education, or work cultures, that don’t work for us. Whether I am helping a parent process birth trauma or coaching a clinician to create a sustainable business, my mission is to help you move from "just getting through" to building a life you love.
Ten years as a qualified Clinical psychologist and eight years of running my own business alongside the high-energy demands of raising three autistic/ADHD children have given me a first hand understanding of the importance of protecting your own wellbeing while caring for others. My MBA from Warwick Business school has convinced me that it is possible to innovate and change the systems that keep so many of us stuck in survival mode.
When I’m not deconstructing systemic barriers for my clients, I’m usually building new ones in my garden shed writing dystopian novels.
