I'm a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and former Chief Psychologist working with independent practitioners and organisations on safeguarding, trauma-informed systems, and staff wellbeing in high-stakes environments.
For 25 years, I've worked across public protection, clinical practice, and senior leadership. I led safeguarding and psychological support for the IICSA, one of the largest public inquiries in UK history, working with thousands of survivors and coordinating over 10,000 police referrals. I've held non-executive positions at HCPC and an NHS trust, which has given me insight into how regulation, governance, and clinical practice actually work together.
What I've noticed across all this work is a common thread. Whether you're an independent practitioner holding safeguarding decisions alone, or a leader trying to build systems that protect both your clients and your staff, the challenge is the same: clarity and confidence in complex situations.
I work with psychologists and therapists to move from self-doubt to clarity in safeguarding. I help organisations design systems that are trauma-informed and buffer staff against secondary trauma. And I support senior leaders navigating high-stakes situations with psychological insight and clear governance.
I'm particularly interested in supporting people who want to build genuine expertise in these areas.
