I'm a Clinical Psychologist, co-founder of The Neurodiversity Practice, The Neurodivergent Parent Space online community, and creator of The Guilty Parent Club. I support parents who are trying incredibly hard but finding that typical parenting advice isn't working for their child or family.
My work draws together over 17 years' experience across the NHS, independent practice, academia, and my own lived experience as a neurodivergent parent. I help families better understand behaviour, reduce overwhelm, and navigate family life with greater confidence and compassion. I developed the 6P Framework, an evidence-informed psychological model that helps parents sustainably increase their child's emotional regulation - and their own - through six interacting factors. As well as parenting consultancy, I provide individual therapy for parents to support their mental health and wellbeing, often around issues such as birth trauma, childhood experiences, identity shifts, high self-criticism, and neurodivergence. I'm currently writing a book for parents of neurodivergent and highly sensitive children.
Alongside this, I provide neuroaffirmative training and consultancy to practitioners and organisations with The Neurodiversity Practice. I am an experienced podcast guest and I regularly contribute as an expert to conversations in the media around parenting, neurodiversity, emotional regulation, parental wellbeing, and family mental health.
