About Alexander Ross
I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist with a core profession as a medical doctor. I trained at the Tavistock in intercultural psychotherapy and have since taken additional trainings in EMDR and reflective practice.
I work in an NHS crisis service as a senior psychotherapist facilitating reflective practice groups in a range of high pressured settings.
I have over 15 years of meditation experience in a variety of traditions and over the years have racked up around 75 days on different silent meditation retreats which informs my presence as a psychotherapist.
I published a book called Meditation for Psychotherapists: Targeted Techniques to Enhance Your Clinical Skills also running seminars and courses for psychological therapists practising a range of therapy modalities.
