She is a regular medical expert on BBC Breakfast, where she translates complex health and medical science into clear, engaging and accessible conversations for a national audience. She is also the author of Menopause and ADHD: How to Navigate Hormone Flux and Neurodivergence and writes a weekly health column for Woman magazine.
Helen has a particular interest in women’s health, hormones and the brain, including menopause, ADHD, neurodivergence, PMDD and the impact of hormonal change across a woman’s life. Her wider speaking work encompasses healthy ageing, brain health, sleep, workplace wellbeing and preventative health.
Alongside her clinical career, Helen spent almost a decade in senior NHS leadership, including Clinical Director roles, giving her first-hand experience of leadership, organisational culture, healthcare transformation and leading teams through significant change.
