I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist registered with the HCPC and BPS, with over 20 years of experience working in mental health. I have an extensive NHS background, supporting people with complex psychological difficulties, and now work with individuals and couples in private practice. Integrating a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Trauma-Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (TF-ACT), Relational Life Therapy (RLT), and ILF Neurofeedback, my approach is tailored to each client’s needs, combining psychological depth with practical strategies for lasting change. I have a particular interest in how early relationships and life experiences shape patterns of thinking, feeling, and relating to others. Therapy focuses on identifying and changing these patterns, helping clients develop healthier relationships with themselves and those around them. I have lived experience of depression and anxiety, and relationship breakdown which complements my psychological training, enabling me to integrate real-world relationship insight with evidence-based therapy.
